hristmas Elves like Mikko are Norse and hail from the snowy mountaintops lining the coastline of the Scandanavian penninsula called "the Fells". Hundreds of years ago, when Santa Claus was visiting Julenisse in Norway, Mikko stowed away in Santa's sleigh and landed in the North Pole.

Mikko learned quickly that if she was to stay in the North Pole, she would have to be useful, so she worked hard and learned from her ellf elders how to maintain the sleigh and make toys during the Christmas rush. The tallest of all the elves, Mikko stands out but uses her height to her help her shorter elfin friends by reaching tools on the top shelf
